APB Reloaded - Free To Play!

That's right, APB is back and it is FREE! Thanks to the people at Gamersfirst you can get back into San Pedro and kick ass just like before. They have improved the performance of the game as well as made several changes to help balance. This isn't just a simple upload of the old game. They are taking it serious by sending out updates as much as they can. Picking up where RTW left off.

Free 2 Play means that you CAN play for free but others who wish to purchase certain items might have a bit of a leg up on you. Still even if you dont pay a dime the game lets you have all the fun you had before and you can participate in every aspect of the game as you could before.


Unfortunately for me the Gamersfirst Live client was not very nice to me and i was unable to download the game this way. But if you grab the APB launcher itself it will allow you to d/l the entire game that way. That can be found below

PS. The information here on unlocking items is no longer accurate as APB Reloaded has different weapons and different ways to acquire them. Over time I will adjust these things and correct them but for now. They are no good.

APB – All Points Bulletin is a new persistent world FPS designed by Realtime Worlds. It was officially released in the US on June 29th and has been a quiet hit with many gamers. A lot of people, including myself, had not heard of the game until the open beta had popped up.

The game is centered on the conflict between Enforcers and Criminals. When you jump in you can immediately take on tasks vs other players. You can start your own mission or accept a mission to stop players from the other faction in completing their missions. That is the simple explanation of what you will be doing in APB. You can either chase down and kill or arrest the Criminals or you can “be apart of the problem” and cause all kinds of trouble and chaos for the Enforcers. Whichever you decide to choose, it will be full of gun fights and team work in order to get ahead. You will have access to 2 action districts where you will be able to take on missions vs the other faction, and you will have access to a social district which is where you do all your customization.

A big part of the game is the customization. Unlike any game before, you will have the ability to create a unique character from head to toe with tons of clothing options of all types and the ability to customize each piece of clothing from colors to your own designs on each of them. Not only that but there is an indepth character creator with several ways to tweak their face, eyes, nose, ears, hair and even body type. Not to mention custom tattoos and just about anything you can think of. If you are a talented artist you will certainly be able to show off your creative side here and even be able to sell them over the player marketplace for game money and or RTW points, which are the currency for purchasing gametime.

The customization is not limited to just characters, you are able to do the same to your personal vehicles, and even customize the music people hear when you kill them with the Music Studio editor. All these are located in the social district; each different colored kiosk does something different.

 I was immediately addicted and have been trying to figure out everything I could ever since. One of the obstacles right now is there is no real official information on any of the game, not even a manual. The designers are creating a website that should hold all this info but there is no word on when that will come about, so we have to fend for ourselves for now.
